A515/A515M specification covers carbon-silicon steel plates primarily for intermediate and higher temperature service in welded boilers and other pressure vessels projects.

A515 Grade 70 steel tensile strength is 485Mpa to 620Mpa and the yield strength is min 260Mpa.

About the thickness of A515 Gr 70, Gangsteel maximum thickness of plates is limited only by the capacity of the composition to meet the specified mechanical property requirements.
Now, in our mill practice, Gangsteel normally limits the maximum thickness of plate is 300mm. the delivery station is UT test, normalized and have to use the ingot to produce it.
